Let me start by saying that O'Brien's in Danbury is one of the few places I've been to lately that can cook a burger to a proper medium. The burger is called the Dubliner and it consists of a very good quality meat cooked to perfection with a slight char on the outside and a sweet pink center with grilled onions, cheddar cheese, and Irish bacon (rashers) on a fresh roll. It comes with delightful hand cut fries which were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle for only $6.50. Really, only $6.50 for the masterpiece pictured above.
Teresa had the loaded steak wrap at nine bucks. It had roasted peppers, avocado, crumbled gorgonzola, and a dipping sauce. It came with the fries as well and it was quite good.
The atmosphere was nice with some interesting pictures of Ireland and sports adorning the walls. Several big screen televisions were playing the World Cup match. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, an excellent place to get a nice meal cheap. We'll be going back again.
