Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Newburgh NY

Five Guys Burgers and Fries has finally opened in Newburgh. It is on Union Avenue in the same plaza as the Chilis, Longhorn and the Panera Bread. We stopped there tonight and it was everything one could want from a Five Guys. Lots of delicious for not a lot of money. Three little burgers, small fries, and a drink for about seventeen bucks.
If you aren't familiar with a Five Guys, please get there and try them. They serve burgers, fries, hot dogs, and soda. That's it. And since they specialize, they do it right. The fries are fresh, the burgers are fresh, and the soda is . . . well its soda. The little burgers are singles, the regular is a double and the small fries is enough for three to share. I get my little cheeseburger (actually I get two of them) with pickles, jalapeño, ketchup and mustard, but there are a whole bunch of other topping available. I recommend the cajun fries instead of the plain ones, but I warn you the heat does sneak up on you near the end, especially after the jalapeño on the burgers.

I do allow comments from my favorite Greek writers, the Anonymous family, so that waiters can make comments on their place of employment without fear. Please do not spam as I already have millions coming to me from nice people in Africa willing to share their money in exchange for my bank account number.
